Cortina’s ski area has become more joined-up, thanks to the new 2-way Skyline lift running between Son dei Prade and Bai de Dones. I’d recommend staying in actual Cortina d’ Ampezzo town or on the Cianderies side as that is the road that leads up to most of everything you’ll see. There are incredible Airbnbs and the hotel that caught my eye was the Cristallo, a Luxury Collection Hotel which had just closed down for the season a day prior to arriving (reopens for winter).
